I would give zero stars . Texas style Jerky was so greasy the bag had fat residue at one the bottom . When I contacted customer service they recommended that we “Air the jerky out” . That just meant we now had jerky with a layer congealed fat . Made our house smell like rotten meat . BIG waste of money
My new favoritist jerky. Perfect texture which is thin enough to tear apart with your teeth without much effort. Another plus is that are no added sugars.
This is my favorite style of jerky. Salt and pepper and meat. I had to give it only 4 stars because I don’t think it has enough salt on it. Can barely taste it. Also I seem to remember a mesquite flavor which this is lacking. I like it but feel it needs these 2 improvements to get a 5 star
This was my favorite jerky so was excited to see it come back in stock. Very disappointed in what I got. Not the same at all. Used to be more flavorful and less greasy.
I used to order this jerky all the time. 6 lbs at a time. I couldn't get enough of it. I was really excited to see it was back, even though it is a lot more expensive than it used to be (I don't blame the company for this). I just received my new, 3 lb pre-order and I am disappointed. I can see the fat in it. There is no garlic taste at all. The texture is ok, but the slabs themselves are greasy and tasteless and nothing like it used to be. I don't think I will be ordering these again. Very disappointed.
